Client Scenario

Over the course of its longstanding partnership, Joulé has built strong relationships with technical end users and program managers. As a result, we have developed strong insights into the challenges of managing a global workforce within the context of the evolving healthcare regulatory environment. As with many highly-innovative large employers, our client struggled with effective onboarding, tracking and time reporting, and a shortage of skilled professionals to fill open requirements.

Joulé Solution

Joulé serves as a primary vendor to recruit candidates for long-term assignments (typically 6+ months) within the clinical, scientific, and engineering disciplines. Operating within the client’s proprietary vendor management system (VMS), our technical recruiters put strong processes in place to handle a high volume of openings with a quick turnaround. Additionally, we handle all background checks, onboarding, and pre-employment requirements.

As a result of our successful track record, Joulé was also selected to provide staffing support to two divested corporate enterprises:

  1. a leading material science manufacturer of a diverse range of high-tech polymer products and
  2. a medical device producer of health monitoring systems with integrated technology

In both cases, the client utilizes a comprehensive managed staffing approach with an integrated VMS, with transparent tracking of metrics such as fill rate, submission rate, and turnover/assignment completion rate. Positions encompass clinical, engineering, human resources, science, marketing, and business roles. At any given time, we employ approximately 100 contractors across the business units. Joulé has also been invited to participate in a current RFP process for IT staffing and has supported the company’s direct hiring needs through a recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) engagement.
